CBP Announces Global Entry® Partnership with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
WASHINGTON — U.S. Customs and Border Protection announced today that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is now an official Global Entry® partner, marking a significant step in strengthening travel, trade and security collaboration between the United States and Saudi Arabia. With this announcement, Saudi Arabia joins 22 international partners whose citizens are eligible to apply for Global Entry membership.
“Travel should build bridges. By extending Global Entry eligibility to Saudi Arabian citizens, we’re making international travel more seamless for trusted travelers while strengthening cooperation between our two countries. This milestone reflects our shared vision for secure and efficient travel,” said Executive Assistant Commissioner Diane J. Sabatino of CBP’s Office of Field Operations.
Through Global Entry, preapproved, low-risk travelers enjoy expedited clearance at U.S. airports and access to TSA PreCheck® for eligible domestic flights. Saudi Arabian applicants will undergo rigorous vetting by both U.S. and Saudi Arabian authorities, including an in-person interview conducted by CBP before enrollment.
Saudi Arabian citizens may use the Trusted Traveler mobile application during the Global Entry application process. The app provides eligible travelers with a convenient, centralized way to apply for Trusted Traveler Programs, check membership status, schedule enrollment interviews, and manage or renew memberships. Once enrolled, Global Entry members may also use the app to confirm their arrival into the United States, helping support a quicker, smoother airport travel experience. For more information on the mobile app visit the Trusted Traveler App webpage.
Membership in Global Entry is valid for five years, subject to continuous compliance with all program requirements. Any violation of program terms will result in appropriate enforcement action, including termination of membership.
Global Entry is one of CBP’s four Trusted Traveler Programs, with millions of members worldwide benefiting from expedited entry services each year. Through these partnerships, CBP continues to promote secure and efficient travel while fostering stronger bilateral and multilateral relationships.
