Desperate David Flippo Rallies With the Only Ones Willing to Support Him: Election Deniers
Even though his opposition crosses party lines, David Flippo has managed to lock up the endorsements of the most fringe election deniers here at home and throughout the country. Since Rep. Mark Amodei refuses to endorse Flippo, the “carpetbagger with a sketchy history” is calling for reinforcements from Jim Jordan, the first person to sign the petition to invalidate Nevada’s electoral votes in 2020 and a leading instigator of the January 6th insurrection.
Here’s a look at a non-exhaustive list of Flippo’s other election-denying allies and a brief overview of their outrageously disqualifying positions:
- Paul Gosar: called for General Milley to be hung over his opposition to January 6th
- Steve Scalise: signed onto the amicus brief in Texas v. Pennsylvania and refused to acknowledge Joe Biden won the 2020 election
- Eric Burlison: invoked the Holocaust in response to Direct TV dropping Newsmax as a result of their complicity in January 6th
- August Pfluger: called on Nancy Pelosi to investigate “irregularities” in the 2020 election
- Robert Beadles: Northern Nevada’s most prominent election-denying antisemite
- Jim Marchant: does not even believe his own election victory was legitimate because he is so steeped in election denial
- Joey Gilbert: attended January 6th insurrection and continues to deny the results of the 2020 election
- Turning Point USA: mounted a multimillion-dollar effort to back election denying election officials
- House Freedom Caucus: was central in planning and preventing investigation of January 6th
Nevada State Democratic party spokesperson Asaf Grofman released the following statement:
“It’s no wonder that the guy who moved to Northern Nevada just to chase political clout, whose history is riddled with fraud and dishonesty, and whose consultants sought out Proud Boys to protest the 2020 election has decided to campaign with Congress’ foremost election denier. David Flippo hitching himself to election deniers’ wagons to rescue his flailing campaign shows that he is more interested in serving the Washington MAGA insurrectionists than being an independent voice for Northern Nevadans.”
