US Praises Kosovo for Back of International Stabilization Force in Gaza
After meeting with Osmani, Rubio thanked her and the people of Kosovo for their commitment to peace and stability as founding members of the Board of Peace. “I also thanked President Osmani for her contributions to the International Stabilization Force in Gaza,” he wrote on X.
Maj. Gen. Jasper Jeffers, the ISF commander, announced that five countries have pledged troops to the new security initiative. During the Board of Peace’s inaugural meeting in Washington, DC, Jeffers said that Indonesia, Morocco, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, and Albania will provide troops, while Egypt and Jordan will focus on training police forces.
The meeting highlighted international cooperation to enhance stability and security in Gaza through combined military and policing efforts.
